  1. Is this pool house still extant? I know the main house was demolished years ago but I seem to recall an article (Newsday, perhaps?) profiling the remodeling of a similarly half-timbered pool house somewhere in the Hamptons that closely resembles this one... (is this it?).

  2. The indoor pool was destroyed in 1938 Hurricane. Then became an outdoor pool. the property was later bought by Charles Merrill,co- founder of Merrill Lynch. It still exists,but the building has been almost doubled in size. Check December 09 posts for map.
